The problem:
Your dog deserves better. But the noise is deafening
One vet says raw feeding is dangerous.
Another says it's the most biologically appropriate diet.
Social media says one thing.
Kibble companies say another.
And in the middle of all that noise? Your dog.
Most people do what makes complete sense, they Google it at midnight, fall down a rabbit hole of conflicting advice, get scared by something about bacteria, and just put the bag of kibble back in the pantry.
Not because they don't care. Because they care too much to get it wrong.
And so they stay stuck. Not from laziness. From love.
Meet the Experts
Four specialists.
Four pillars.
Thirty minutes each.
Every speaker is a practising professional brought in for their specific expertise. Each leads a focused 30-minute deep-dive on one pillar, followed by a combined panel Q&A at the end.
Pillar 1: Ditching the Kibble The biological and health-based case for moving away from ultraprocessed food — and why it matters more than most owners realise.
Dr. Victoria Unt — BVetMed, MRCVS
An integrative veterinarian and founder of Vet Equilibre in Switzerland, Dr. Unt holds advanced certification in Veterinary Natural Nutrition (CIVT). She bridges conventional medicine and Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, focusing on evidence-informed, biologically appropriate raw feeding. She'll make the biological and health-based case for moving away from ultraprocessed food — and why it matters more than most owners realise.
Pillar 2: The BARF Blueprint A practical guide to the 70/10/10/10 framework, how to balance a bowl, and what species-appropriate nutrition actually looks like in practice.
Kavita Gaglani— BSc, MBA, CCN
Founder of The Driven Dog and a Certified Canine Nutritionist with a background in Biomedical Science and Culinary Arts, Kavita specialises in how diet directly impacts behaviour, impulse control, and long-term wellbeing — particularly in high-drive and working breeds. She'll walk you through the 70/10/10/10 framework and what a properly balanced raw bowl actually looks like in practice.

Pillar 3: The Transition Strategy Cold turkey vs gradual switching, how to handle early resistance, and how to troubleshoot the most common hurdles in the first few weeks.
Nick Thompson — BSc (Hons) Path Sci., BVM&S, MRCVS
The founding President of the Raw Feeding Veterinary Society, Nick has spent over three decades in clinical practice. A leading voice in the raw movement and co-host of Raw Pet Medics, he uses herbal medicine and acupuncture grounded in evolutionary biology to challenge conventional nutritional wisdom. He'll cover how to switch safely, cold turkey vs gradual, and how to troubleshoot the most common early hurdles.
Pillar 4: The Microbiome & Immunity How raw feeding supports a healthy internal ecosystem, strengthens immune function, and contributes to long-term vitality.
Dr. Haitham Ghunaim — PhD, MSc, BVSc
A veterinarian and founder of RawChoice, Dr. Ghunaim holds a PhD in Veterinary Microbiology from the University of Saskatchewan, where he specialised in foodborne disease interventions. He'll break down how raw feeding supports a healthy internal ecosystem, strengthen immune function — and replace the fear around bacteria with actual science.
All four sessions are followed by a combined panel Q&A — so you can put your specific questions directly to the experts.

About RFVS
Who is the Raw Feeding Veterinary Society?
The Raw Feeding Veterinary Society is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisation made up of vets, vet nurses, and paraprofessionals with a shared commitment to species-appropriate nutrition for cats and dogs.
Founded in 2014 and UK-based, RFVS has grown into a global community of professionals dedicated to evidence-informed raw feeding education — for both the veterinary profession and the pet-owning public.
Every member of the team contributes their time voluntarily, driven by a genuine belief that pets thrive on diets they were biologically designed to eat.
"There is no right or wrong — simply different ways of improving our pets' nutrition to greater or lesser degrees."
This workshop is part of RFVS's ongoing mission to make species-appropriate nutrition accessible, practical, and backed by real science.
